Smugglers' Notch Resort Smuggler's Notch Resort is located in northwestern Vermont. It is 1 hour northeast of Burlington, Vermont, 45 minutes northwest of Montpelier, Vermont, and 3 hours and 40 minute northwest of Boston, Massachusetts.
