Smuggler's Notch Resort is located in northwestern Vermont. It is 1 hour northeast of Burlington, Vermont, 45 minutes northwest of Montpelier, Vermont, and 3 hours and 40 minute northwest of Boston, Massachusetts.

The resort consists of three mountains (Madonna, Sterling, and Morse) with over 1,000 acres of terrain. Smugglers' Notch is home to the only Triple Black Diamond in the East.
