New England Skiing and Snowboarding

New England is a major destination for both Alpine or downhill skiing and cross country or Nordic skiing. The six New England states have 75 Alpine or downhill ski resorts and over 85 cross country or Nordic ski areas. The northern tier of New England states (ME, NH, and VT) have the largest number and the largest ski areas.
