Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL)
The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) is a professional hockey league with roots dating back to the Atlantic Coast Hockey League (2002) and the World Hockey Association 2 (2003). When both of these predecessor leagues folded in 2004, the surviving teams formed the SPHL.
For the 2006/2007 season, the Southern Professional Hockey League consists of 8 teams organized into a single division.
