Women's Professional Football League (WPFL)
The Women's Professional Football League (WPFL) is a professional women's football league that plays American football. It was founded in 1999 and played its first season with 11 teams in 2000.
The Women's Professional Football League consists of 13 teams organized into two conferences, the American Conference, and the National Conference. Following is a brief synopsis of the WPFL and a listing of all WPFL teams:
