National Women's Football Association (NWFA)
The National Women's Football Association (NWFA) is a professional women's football league that plays American football. The NWFA was founded in 2000 and played its first year as an exhibition season between two teams - Alabama Renegades and the Nashville Dream. The league played its first season in 2001. For the 2007 season, the NWFA fielded 33 teams.
The National Women's Football Association three conferences - Northern, Southern, and Western.
