National League Finally Wins One

The National League finally won an All-Star game for the first time in a long time.

For the record, the last time the National League won was in 1996. Since then they have lost 12 of 13 (there was a draw in 2002).

More important than the win, the National League will now have home field advantage for the 2010 World Series. This is first time since the All-Star game has decided World Series home field advantage (instituted in 2003). The last time the National League had home field advantage was 2001.
