Last year we watched the Boston Celtics set a team record for losses in a row and flirt with setting the NBA record for losing streaks. They ended up with an 18 game losing streak (see: 18 and Out).
Fast forward a year and the Celtics have started the 2007/2008 campaign with a 7 game winning streak. This is their best start in 35 years, since they started the 1972/1973 season with a 10-0 streak. For the record, their best start ever came in 1957/1958 when they started the season 14-0.
Watching a winning streak is a whole lot easier on the eyes than watching a losing streak…
