To make it to the MLB playoffs – 162 games of hard work and passion.

To actually get the Natinal League Wild Card – a 1 game extra innings Wild Card playoff win.

To win the NLDS – a 3 game brooming of the Philadelphia Phillies.

To win the first National League Pennant in team history – a 4 game brooming of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

To play in the first “Fall Classic” in team history – priceless.

Congratulations to the Colorado Rockies on their first National League Pennant and first trip to the World Series. And just how hot are the Rockies.?They are 8-0 in the post season including their 1 game wild card win. They have won 21 of their last 22 games played.

And for their fans, they won the NLDS at home and the NLCS at home.

Does anyone get the feeling that the ALCS is being played to determine the American League’s sacrificial offering on a Rockey mountain alter?
